Cosmetic dentistry?!?

i was 9yrs old when i got braces they were removed when i was 12 yrs old. i am now 18 yrs old. my enamel on my teeth are ruined and also discolored. to fix them i need veneers which cost starting at $500 per tooth. i just want my teeth fixed rite now and i am willing to also negogiate also. do i have a case or not? thanxxx

Do you have a case? I dont think you do.. the discoloration is usualy due to not taking care of it as well as you should. You really have to go the extra mile for braces, Plus since you waited so long to even make any sort of case, they can poke many holes in your case.





They can turn it around on you and sue you for the costs of the case, because they can say that you didnt take care of your teeth during and after braces. You really have to follow the intrustions they give you down to the T .





If you go back to the dentist you had before he might give you a discount... thats about it... you dont have a case, sorry .. you waited too long
Reply:Not really, unless there was proof that the braces were "faulty", other people having the same problem with the same type of braces, etc. You can talk with your insurance company or with the maker of the braces and see what happens.

Most insurance companies will not cover cosmetic dentistry, unless you have a high-end insurance plan, but even still, you may have to pay a deductable.
