teeth are imbedded in the jaws, not the gums. If a tooth is knocked out, sometimes if you are quick about it, and the tooth is whole, it can be re-implanted.
Can a tooth be fixed back to the gums using cosmetic dentistry?
do you mean the tooth has been broken at the gum line? If so there is a chance it can but it will prob take a root canal, filling, and crown. Which with out insurance and be pretty pricey ($2,000).
Reply:Yes, this certainly can be done as a very simple, painless, quick outpatient procedure. All they do is pull down some of your gums from other teeth, move little bits of the skin around, and that usually takes care of the matter. It can only be done once though, so after the procedure make sure that you are careful not to wear away the gums again. Good luck!
Reply:If you want an implant, it can be done. If you mean some other kind of fixed treatment, then we need more info. There many kinds of services for fixing a tooth back.
