How much would it cost to fix a chipped tooth?

I chipped my left front tooth a while back. I am considering getting it fixed or "capped", I think is the term. Anyway, how much would it cost for this procedure? Below is a picture of a tooth SIMILAR to what mine looks like:

Please see the photo, and maybe you can give me an estimate of what it would cost. I know it's not covered by my insurance, since it's "cosmetic" dentistry.

(BTW, mine is just a BIT more chipped than the one in the picture. Of course I can live with this chipped tooth, but I would rather have it fixed.)

How much would it cost to fix a chipped tooth?
My front tooth was chipped, and my dentist added some filler material, then buffed it down. You can't even tell, it's exactly the color of my tooth. He only charged me $30, and it took him about 5 minutes.
