So what does a Prothodontist do, who do they work with and what practice ???
A prosthodontist is a dentist who:

*

Specializes in the esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth,

*

Receives two or three years of additional training after dental school, and

*

Restores optimum appearance and function to your smile.

Additional training for prosthodontists is earned through a hospital- or university-based program accredited by the American Dental Association.
Reply:A type of denist specializing in total tooth restoration.
Reply:Prosthodontist mainly specialize in replacement of teeth, dentures/ partials/ etc. We send patients to a prosthodontist when we see things in their mouth that might make it difficult for us to make a well fitting denture/partial. Maybe their bite is off or odd anatomy/ deviances in their mouth.
