i saw this on tv once.

theres too much tissue on the inside of your upper lip.

you can get a procedure done where they take tissue off your upper lip.

talk to a dentist to see what its called and ask them where you can get this done.

goodluck
Reply:This is more of a facial muscle issue- thank your parents.

You can have veneers (or crowns if needed) that are longer than your teeth are now to make it appear as if your teeth should show or can "plump up" you lip, but this may not be worth altering your natural teeth.

Go to a very respected cosmetic dentist, I've seen some messed up crap with these types of procedures. Uneven bites, misaligned teeth, bad gum lines(margins), bad bonding, etc.

Good Luck
Reply:It depends on many factors. You could get a tooth lengthening crowns if your roots and teeth are strong and healthy enough. Many I know who have this issue often has jaw surgery to bring their upper teeth down. My daughter did. My upper teeth never showed my whole life and today they do because of a dental procedure where I got dental implants and they made them show with the teeth but that isn't an option for anyone with healthy teeth.
Reply:Don't worry about it!! In later years this is a great asset if you have to have dentures they will look nice.I dread to see a denture patient with a real short lip!! DR HW
