How long will it take to get 4 cavities filled at once?

I used to be in Dental Assisting a few years ago, but I focused more on cosmetic dentistry. Does anyone know how long it would take, and if it is advisable to get all 4 done at once?

Depends on cavities, their locations and severity, but also the dentist...

If they are very minor cavities, it takes my dentist under 5 minutes to do one. No anesthesia, because they're not very deep, but she does make sure it doesn't hurt!

If you do need anesthesia - it takes longer, and in general it is done to 1/4 of a mouth. So if all cavities requiring anesthesia are in the same 1/4, it can still be done, otherwise, a dentist will generally not give you shots in two different 1/4s during the same visit, so be ready for several.

Otherwise there's no counter indications as far as I know. I've had multiple cavities filled during the same visit many times!

LEM.
