Teeth Whitening and Military Insurance?

Newly returned into the world of TriCare I find that cosmetic dentistry is now being paid for for us...finally! Have any of you had experience with being active duty or a dependent and receiving cosmetic dentistry on TriCare? I'm hoping to get a gum alignment and veneers.

Teeth Whitening and Military Insurance?
If you're stationed in Denver let me know and I'm going to change this answer some. You have to have 30 days retainability. The dental facility has to have money in the budget and dentist with credentialing to do veneers. Unless you have 24 month or more on station, braces are out of the question.

schedule an exam and cleaning with the dental unit and ask the dentist when you're in the chair. He or she will let you know where their clinic stands. Also, depends on the CO of the the clinic. Also depends on which branch you are in. If you go to a civilian dentist and you're in the army, MMSO will not approve esthetics. Their goal is maintaining dental readiness and keeping you our of Class 3, not esthetics.
